Spring Wrap-Up

The 2017 spring 15’s season posed challenge, growth, and numerous learning opportunities that revealed CWR’s physical and mental resilience. With the addition of Humboldt State to our league, Cal faced off against Chico State, UC Davis, Humboldt State, and Stanford University for a total of eight matches. Cal Heads To UC San Diego For PMRC Playoffs

Despite a tough league season this year, Cal Women’s Rugby has made it to the playoffs! The team will face UC San Diego this Saturday, March 26th. The UCSD Tritons are sure to give Cal a great match, as they’ve gone 10-0 in their PMCR South league this season. Cal Wraps Up Spring Season with 7s Nationals

Cal Women’s Rugby has wrapped up the spring season since returning from the 7s National Championship in Denver May 23rd & 24th, 2015. We would like to congratulate Penn State Rugby​ on their National Championship wins in BOTH 15s and 7s. Clearly, they have a dominant program. Cal Gears Up For 7s Nationals in Denver, May 21-24

The Cal Women Rugby’s 7 Squad is gearing up to compete at the USA Rugby Collegiate National 7’s Championship in Denver on May 21-24, 2015. Cal qualified for a spot at Nationals back in the fall by placing first at the Oregon 7s Qualifier and the Stanford 7s Tournament. Cal Loses to BYU (59-0) at Round of 16 Nationals

April 28th, 2014 Cal faced a strong and disciplined BYU Cougars team in the USA Rugby Round of 16 Collegiate D1 National Championships on Friday, April 25th, losing 59-0. Cal could find no space to score and lagged defensively against the bigger BYU back line.
