Pre-season Recap

In preparation for our spring season, Cal Women’s Rugby played in three tournaments this off season: Dixon Scottish Games, Stanford 10s, and Scrum by the Sea. In Dixon, we played against Chico, Davis, and Sacramento State, and many of our rookies played in their first rugby match. Triplett to step down as CWR Head Coach

Cal Women’s Rugby Head Coach Mari Triplett recently announced that she will step down after two seasons to focus on upcoming family needs. Summer Camp Registration Now Open!

Registration for our summer camp for high school girls rugby players is now open! The camp is a day-camp format, that will be held over two days: Saturday July 22nd, and Sunday, July 23rd. Both days of camp will be held on Witter Rugby Field, one of the most premier rugby pitches in the country. 7’s National Qualifier

Cal, Stanford, UC Davis, Chico, and Oregon State all participated in the Stanford 7’s National Qualifier on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at Stanford. UC Davis ended up with the final victory in this tournament, but Cal fought with intensity in these matches, just barely dropping 3 of the games.
